Surely everyone knows by now about tonight’s star-studded spectacular: The Southampton premiere of The Windsurfing Movie taking place at the Southampton Cultural Center. Producer/director/pro-windsurfer/old-school Puffin Jace Panebianco will be on hand to discuss his magnum opus. Details for attending the big event can be found at this link, but if you can’t make the gala, check back tomorrow for a full report in the Peconic Puffin!
Jace isn’t the only East End windsurfer doing great work behind the lens these days. Pick up the latest copy of Windsurfing Magazine and turn to page 45, where our very own Peconic Jeff has won 4th place in the Windsurfing Magazine photo contest! Jeff scored with a photo of The Wolf in a rare moment when John was not flashing his hand-drag jibe, which would have been tricky given that the gorgeous shot was taken back in February at the end of an ice-sailing session at Cold Spring Pond.
