I’m sure he’s done this stuff on surf boards for years before sup was thought of. Giving him a paddle now is like letting a prof baseball player hit off a tee.

Joe, exactly who do you mean by “you”? I couldn’t do that even in a deep REM period! -
He uses tons of rail and smallish fins to make that happen I believe. If you haven’t had a chance to read “the wave” by susan casey yet I would recommend. A nice little peek into Liards life/intensity. Good gift idea.

I ‘ve enjoyed watching Bonga Perkins do those 360s in the past on a surfboard.
Laird’s moves are pure ballet (watching with the sound off, since the s/o is listening to Bocelli…but it works well with the languid pace of the wave at that break.
