If you've got a Go, all you need is a paddle, it seems.  Actually I bet this is fairly challenging, but boy does it look like fun.  Of course there's a swap meet this weekend at Hampton Watersports (pick up a used SUP, or maybe even a Go?)     I hope to get on the water soon.  Wind, waves, whateva…

Thanks for this. I never figured it would work too well in the waves, after one miserable attempt wave sailing the Go. Musta been user error. But….My whole family learned to SUP on the same old Starboard GO. Since it had no typical leash attachment point, I just failed to figure out we could still attach a leash to the back footstraps (?) or fin screw (?) — and then we’d have another SUP that could work in waves (duh!).
We’ve used a lot on flat water — until I got the Fanatic 9’6″ Allwave — same volume as the Allwave 9’6″, except the GO is about 1 inch wider and tracks and glides a little better in flat to choppy water.
… here’s my son first time SUPing a GO on a choppy light wind day at Kalmus on vacation July 2012, (before the camera crashed into the sand)
