The Peconic Puffin

Peconic Jeff has the eye.   When he puts a camera between that eye (I think it’s his right one) and water sport stuff, I’m always a fan of the result.

Here are two recent Puffin pleasers…Snow Board (self explanatory) and a shot from a recent Meschutt sesh that I overcropped for a blog post, so I want to highlight it in its full glory.   Go to Jeff’s Flickr page to see these images in even fuller glory, plus his recent work with Mecox ice boats, advection fog (I have no idea) the obligatory bowl of fruit and more.

Thank you Michael, it is an honor to have my photos recognized by the Peconic Puffin. Fortunately, now that Spring is here, I can finally move beyond my “snow and ice phase”. Cheers!

Again, you guys are hardcore. I don’t even like to go outside when it’s raining a little, and sailing in stormy conditions is damn near unthinkable. Well done sir and here’s to warmer, sunnier days.

Rotorhead, it’s a frame of mind. here is a day when I questioned our sanity, and possibly the ugliest day I’ve ever been on a board….can we possibly be enjoying ourselves? We were, though!

….and that frame of mind is known in clinical circles as “insanity”. 40G55? I don’t even want to drive a car in that.
