The Peconic Puffin

A blog about a group of windsurfers and other water sports enthusiasts, and their friends. Established 1993.

Friday morning northerly…air temps in the 50's…Labor Day weekend?  Why not?  I hemmed and hawed at Towd Point beach, resenting the mid 50's air (of course in not that many months I'll be rigging in snow!) when Al the kiter started rigging, shaming me (thankfully) into putting up a sail and getting out there.  Lovely Peconic morning session for an hour, then the winds switched off.   Shoulda gotten up earlier!
